Apostille

The apostille is the certificate that makes a public document valid in another Hague Convention country. In Panama it is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Some documents need a step before the apostille: Civil Registry certificates must be current, private documents must be authenticated by a notary, and university degrees sometimes need a registered signature. We check your document and tell you what's missing before we submit it.

If your document is from another country, we coordinate the apostille in the issuing country through our international network, plus the Spanish translation in Panama, so it arrives ready to submit.

What's included

  • Prior check of the document and the signature to be apostilled
  • Handling of prior steps (notary, signature registration)
  • Submission and pickup at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Coordination of apostilles in the issuing country
  • Certified translation of the apostille and the document

How it works

  1. Send your document. Through the form or by email, as a clear photo or scan. Tell us which country and procedure it is for.
  2. Get your quote. We confirm exactly what you need (translation, apostille, legalization), the price and the turnaround.
  3. We process it. We translate and obtain the stamps and signatures from notaries, ministries or consulates, keeping you updated.
  4. Delivery. Receive a signed PDF or the hard copy by courier, anywhere in Panama or abroad.

Every document is different, so we don't publish fixed rates. Send us your document and we reply with an exact price and turnaround, usually the same business day.

Documents from and for other countries

If the country is party to the Hague Convention, an apostille is enough. If not, consular legalization is required. We tell you the right route for each country.
